Let me introduce myself. My name is Briana Sampson and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Texas and California. I believe it is a gift as a therapist to provide a space for clients to feel safe, supported, and heard. There are experiences in life that challenge us and promote growth — and I am grateful to sit alongside the vulnerability of my clients doing this meaningful work.
Looking back, my interest in the helping profession was sparked before I even recognized it. Throughout my life I observed a desire to help others and a passion for letting people feel heard. It became clear that my role was to walk beside individuals as they learn to sit with discomfort, feel empowered, and embrace the change they want to see for themselves. Life can be hard at times — and you do not need to face these challenges alone.
I value genuineness and authenticity. You are important, and your voice deserves to be heard. Everyone is unique, and no experience is the same. I am not here to change you; I am here to work with you to promote the changes you want to see in your life. Healing, growth, and change are possible.
My clinical home is Rooted Healing Therapy, my private practice in Argyle, Texas. Beyond the therapy room, I run the Postpartum Therapy Project, a nonprofit that funds a full year of therapy for postpartum mothers — because I believe access to maternal mental health care shouldn’t depend on income.
I am currently accepting new clients. Reach out to schedule a free initial phone consultation — I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you have.
“Your past is part of your journey; a chapter in your story, but it does not define who you are or where you go. You get to flip the page and begin again.”
